Tyler Conklin Sees Nine Targets In Week 2

New York Jets tight end Tyler Conklin saw the second-most targets on the team in a Week 2 win with nine. He made six catches, gaining 40 yards. None of Conklin's catches were particularly big gains, as his longest catch was a 13-yarder. It was still encouraging to see him pick up the second-highest target share on the team, behind only rookie receiver Garrett Wilson's 14. Conklin doesn't have the speed to bust long gains, but he has sure hands and is a solid blocker, meaning he could end up as one of the more consistent short-yardage and red-zone options in a suddenly decent-looking Jets offense. He'll be a high-end TE2 streamer going forward.
