Tyler Conklin Resurfaces With Four Catches In Week 7

Published: Oct 24, 2022 at 12:29 AM
New York Jets tight end Tyler Conklin resurfaced with four catches for 22 yards in a Week 7 win over the Denver Broncos. Conklin actually led the team in targets with six and was tied for the team lead in catches. Even with running back Breece Hall (knee) forced to leave early, the Jets stuck with a run-heavy approach, with quarterback Zach Wilson completing just 16 passes in the win. There's no reason to think that type of play calling won't continue, making Conklin a mid-range TE2 despite some solid weeks earlier in the season.
