Stetson Bennett Does Not Disappoint In First Preseason Game

Los Angeles Rams quarterback Stetson Bennett got his very first NFL action in the team's preseason opener loss against the Los Angeles Chargers. Bennett went 17-for-29 for 191 pass yards and a passing touchdown, while just rushing the ball twice for two yards. Brett Rypien did start for the team ahead of Bennett, but this should not be taken too seriously after the performances that each of them had. Bennett was incredible in college with a record of 28-1 over his last two seasons and winning back-to-back national championships. The fourth-round pick out of Georgia will make a strong push during the preseason to become the team's backup quarterback behind Matthew Stafford.
