Sam LaPorta Scores Pair Of Touchdowns In Win

Published: Oct 08, 2023 at 08:34 PM
Detroit Lions tight end Sam LaPorta caught three of his four targets for 47 yards and two touchdowns in the 42-24 win over the Carolina Panthers. He had a bright outlook in the absence of Amon-Ra St. Brown (abdomen) and ultimately delivered once again for fantasy managers. The rookie from Iowa has 25 receptions for 289 yards and three touchdowns through his first five career games and is already a must-start fantasy option. Despite a tough matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers next week, his upside at the scarce position makes him worth starting. He is well on his way to a high-end TE1 fantasy season.
