Sam LaPorta Listed As Limited Wednesday
Published: Oct 18, 2023 at 08:36 PM
Detroit Lions rookie tight end Sam LaPorta (calf) was listed as limited in the team's walkthrough practice on Wednesday. LaPorta was a late-week addition to the injury report in Week 6 and was listed as questionable against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with his calf injury. He eventually played and caught just four of a season-high-tying 11 targets for 36 yards a week after scoring two touchdowns. As long as LaPorta doesn't suffer a setback in practice this week, fantasy managers should have him locked into their starting lineups for a Week 7 tilt against the Ravens in Baltimore this Sunday. The 22-year-old has been very impressive in his first NFL campaign and is the TE2 in overall fantasy points in half-PPR scoring through six weeks, behind only Travis Kelce.
