Mike Williams Quiet In Week 6 Win

Published: Oct 18, 2022 at 04:01 AM
Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams finished with just two receptions for 16 yards on six targets in the team's Week 6 win over the Denver Broncos. Williams was shadowed by Broncos cornerback Patrick Surtain II for much of the game, forcing Justin Herbert to target his options underneath in Austin Ekeler and Joshua Palmer a combined 28 times. Better days will be ahead for Williams, regardless of whether or not Keenan Allen (hamstring) is on the field. He will look to get back on track against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 7.
