Malik Willis Named Backup Quarterback
Published: Aug 31, 2022 at 01:24 AM
Tennessee Titans quarterback Malik Willis will open the season as the backup quarterback. Clearly, the Titans have enough faith in their rookie that they released Logan Woodside. Willis will serve as the primary backup to Ryan Tannehill to begin the season. During the preseason, Willis threw two touchdowns and one interception while rushing for 159 yards in three games. Fantasy managers shouldn't expect Willis to make an impact during his rookie season, assuming Tannehill stays healthy. Although, he could quickly push himself onto the fantasy radar if Tannehill gets hurt.
