Jordan Addison Battling Back Strain

Published: Mar 05, 2023 at 07:08 PM
USC wide receiver Jordan Addison (back), who has potential to be the first receiver taken in this year's draft, shut it down at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis on Saturday due to a minor back strain. He will finish his workouts for NFL scouts at his school's pro day on March 21. The 21-year-old's back was likely responsible for him running a disappointing 4.49-second 40-yard dash on Saturday before he shut it down. Addison measured in at 5-foot-11, 173 pounds, and questions about whether his body will hold up at the next level is the biggest concern for his draft stock. But Addison does have elite speed, which should allow him to gain plenty of separation for whichever NFL team takes him in April's draft.
