Javonte Williams Limited At OTAs

Published: May 25, 2023 at 06:29 PM
Denver Broncos running back Javonte Williams (knee) was present, dressed and participated in the team's walkthrough at organized team activities on Thursday. "He's working in a limited capacity," head coach Sean Payton said. The Broncos are bringing Williams along slowly, but it's a good sign he's doing anything at all this early in the offseason. The 23-year-old has made great progress from ACL and LCL tears in Week 4 of last year, but he's still not a guarantee to be ready for Week 1 of the regular season. Even if Williams suits up for the season opener, Samaje Perine is expected to have an expanded role early in the year. Williams has shown already in flashes that he has RB1 fantasy upside, but injury concerns have drop will drop his ADP to that of an RB2 this fall.
