Jaleel McLaughlin Continues To Impress

Published: Aug 31, 2023 at 04:25 AM
Not only did Denver Broncos undrafted rookie running back Jaleel McLaughlin make the final 53-man roster entering the 2023 regular season, but he continues to draw rave reviews. Offensive tackle Mike McGlinchey was effusive in his praise of McLaughlin, saying that the rookie routinely makes "How'd he see that?" cuts on film. "I can speak for a lot of veterans when I say we have been very impressed with Jaleel," McGlinchey said. The 22-year-old back could see more of an opportunity for touches early in the regular season as the Broncos look to ease Javonte Williams (knee) back from an ACL tear in Week 4 last year. However, unless Williams or Samaje Perine miss time with injury, McLaughlin will probably only be worth stashing in dynasty/keeper leagues.
