DeVonta Smith Remains A Must-Start In Week 13
Published: Dec 01, 2023 at 01:44 PM
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith will face off against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 13. The 25-year-old was limited in practice to start the week due to a knee injury but has since returned as a full participant. Smith has found the end zone in three of his last four games and finally reached the 100-yard receiving yard mark last week against the Buffalo Bills. With Dallas Goedert (forearm) out, the offense has shifted to using more three wide receiver sets, with Smith being the biggest beneficiary of the change. Defenses are selling out to try and keep A.J. Brown in check, leaving the former Heisman winner wide open on multiple occasions. With San Francisco giving up the 12th-most yards and fourth-most receptions to wide receivers this year, Smith remains a must-start WR2 with top-12 upside heading into Week 13.
