Daniel Bellinger Records 37 Receiving Yards In Preseason Finale

Published: Aug 28, 2022 at 08:54 PM
New York Giants tight end Daniel Bellinger recorded three receptions for 37 yards during Sunday's preseason loss to the New York Jets. The rookie out of Georgia exited Sunday's preseason finale early with a concussion, so it will be important to keep tabs on his status for New York's Week 1 showdown with the Tennessee Titans. Considering that his backups are Chris Myarick, Austin Allen, and Tanner Hudson, Bellinger is slated to be the starting tight end for the Giants in 2022. During the offseason, the first-year fourth-round pick spent some time on the PUP list, making it less than ideal that he's dealing with another injury. Bellinger should be considered a late-round dart throw at the tight end position entering the 2022 campaign.
