Brian Robinson Jr. Totals 87 Yards With Large Workload

Published: Jan 02, 2023 at 03:27 AM
Washington Commanders running back Brian Robinson Jr. had 24 carries for 87 yards in Sunday's loss to the Cleveland Browns. The rookie running back had some high expectations heading into Week 17. With fellow running back Antonio Gibson being ruled out, the writing was on the wall for Robinson to see plenty of work against a Cleveland run defense that struggled for most of the year. While he saw the workload, the results weren't fantastic, as the 22-year-old averaged just 3.6 yards per carry. Robinson was fine, but with the expectations set high, it's hard for fantasy managers to not feel disappointed with his output. He'll have an opportunity to provide a better performance against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 18.
