Brett Rypien Slated To Start In Week 7
Published: Oct 23, 2022 at 01:14 AM
Denver Broncos quarterback Brett Rypien is expected to start in place of Russell Wilson (hamstring) against the New York Jets on Sunday afternoon. The 26-year-old hasn't started a game or completed a pass since Week 4 in 2020, also against the Jets, when he went 19-for-31 with 242 yards, two touchdowns, and three interceptions. Not only should Rypien be viewed as a low-end QB3 this week, but his presence under center restricts the fantasy value of wide receivers Courtland Sutton and Jerry Jeudy.
