Alexander Mattison Doesn't Practice Wednesday

Published: Nov 15, 2023 at 10:13 PM
Minnesota Vikings running back Alexander Mattison (concussion) remains in the league's concussion protocol and did not practice on Wednesday. Mattison suffered a concussion in the Week 10 win over the New Orleans Saints, and his status for the Week 11 Sunday night game against the Denver Broncos is now firmly in question. He still has a few more days to gain clearance, but fantasy managers shouldn't expect him to gain clearance to play this weekend. With Cam Akers (Achilles) done for the season, Ty Chandler should take over lead-back duties in Minnesota if Mattison misses any time. Kene Nwangwu would also have an expanded role against Denver if Mattison is out.
