Will Grier Bolsters Quarterback Depth In Cincinnati

The Cincinnati Bengals have signed quarterback Will Grier to the team's practice squad. Grier, who most recently spent time in Dallas, was released on roster cutdown day. His spot on the roster was taken when the Cowboys traded for Trey Lance. The team did let him play the entire preseason finale to show other teams what he could do. The former third-round pick showed off, throwing for 305 yards and two touchdowns. He added another 53 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. Grier is currently the third quarterback on the Bengals roster behind starter Joe Burrow and Jake Browning.
