Tyler Badie Leads All Rushers On Sunday Night
Published: Aug 22, 2022 at 06:14 PM
Baltimore Ravens running back Tyler Badie ran for 34 yards off 12 touches during the exhibition win over Arizona. He also had two catches for five yards and a touchdown. The sixth-round pick led all rushers on Sunday night, adding to what has been a decent preseason. He is averaging 2.9 yards per carry in August, which is troubling. However, after Sunday's performance, he may have done just enough to earn a spot on the regular season roster. If he does make the team, he could open the 2022-23 campaign supporting Mike Davis, assuming J.K. Dobbins (knee) and Gus Edwards (knee) aren't available. Still, even if Badie gets some additional opportunities, he has little fantasy upside, and that's being generous.
