Ty Johnson Underwent Surgery This Offseason

Free-agent running back Ty Johnson (pectoral) posted a video to his Instagram account on Friday, revealing he underwent surgery this offseason. The 2019 sixth-round pick was re-signed by the Jets in March. However, after suffering a pec tear while working out, the team released him with a non-football injury designation. Johnson finished last season by appearing in all 17 games for New York, amassing 160 yards off 30 carries while adding 12 catches for 88 yards. It's unknown how long he'll need to rehab. But Johnson will have to find a new club before he draws any consideration from fantasy managers.
