Tutu Atwell Drawing Praise From Sean McVay

Published: Jun 14, 2023 at 06:37 PM
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Tutu Atwell has caught just 18 passes for 298 yards and one touchdown in two seasons in the NFL, but with no established wideouts other than Cooper Kupp on the roster, he could be in for an expanded role in 2023. Head coach Sean McVay said Atwell has been outstanding and is developing into a more complete player. "He's been a real bright spot, very comfortable," McVay said. "You can see just the comfort in playing a lot of snaps last year, gaining some confidence, and then being able to move around. That'll be really valuable." Atwell will compete with Van Jefferson, Ben Skowronek, Puka Nacua, Tyler Higbee, and Demarcus Robinson for targets behind Kupp, meaning he could enter the fantasy radar in 2023.
