Tua Tagovailoa Still Worth Starting Despite Tough Matchup
Published: Dec 04, 2022 at 02:17 AM
Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa will look to build on his recent success against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 13. The 24-year-old has now strung together five consecutive contests without an interception, averaging 2.2 touchdowns and 29.2 fantasy points per game during that span. He's going up against the 49ers, who have allowed just 13.8 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks (sixth-lowest in the NFL). Despite the tough matchup, Tagovailoa and the Dolphins' elite wide receiver duo of Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle have shown the ability to post great results no matter their opponent. Consider Tagovailoa a low-end QB1 this week.
