Trevor Lawrence Poised For Solid Performance In Week 1

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence is slated to face the Washington Commanders in Week 1. The Commanders are expected to be without arguably their best pass rusher in Chase Young as the former first-round pick recovers from a torn ACL. Besides Young being sidelined, Washington surrendered the most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks in 2021. The second-year signal-caller also has an improved receiving corps that now features Christian Kirk, Zay Jones, and Marvin Jones Jr., along with Travis Etienne Jr. making his debut after missing his rookie season. The 22-year-old quarterback is a QB2 with QB1 upside in Week 1.
