Trent Williams Ruled Out With Ankle Injury

Published: Sep 26, 2022 at 03:07 AM
San Francisco 49ers All-Pro left tackle Trent Williams (ankle) has officially been ruled out for the remainder of the Sunday night contest against the Denver Broncos due to an ankle injury that he suffered in the third quarter. The 34-year-old had his leg rolled up on, but the good news is he refused a cart and walked off the field under his own power. It's bad news for the 49ers offense the rest of this game and moving forward if Williams misses any time. Jaylon Moore initially took over at left tackle after Williams was injured, but then Colton McKivitz entered the game. We should know more about the severity of Williams' injury on Monday.
