T.J. Hockenson Has Quiet Day In Loss

Published: Sep 11, 2022 at 10:17 PM
Detroit Lions tight end T.J. Hockenson caught four-of-eight targets for 38 yards in the loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. In PPR leagues, it was a serviceable day for a tight end, but his 3.8 standard league point total was a disastrous start. The Eagles were viewed as a favorable matchup for tight ends, so it was a disappointing day. However, there aren't many tight ends that consistently draw six-plus targets, so he'll continue to be a strong option. The targets were a positive sign and it's too early to overreact to a tough season-opener.
