"The Ball Will Find" Kyle Pitts, Says Arthur Smith

Published: Sep 21, 2022 at 10:57 PM
Atlanta Falcons head coach Arthur Smith offered some encouraging words about Kyle Pitts on Wednesday, stating that the tight end will "break out here again, and [the Falcons] are going to win because of it." Pitts has been a massive letdown for fantasy managers so far this season, as he has not been featured in Atlanta's passing attack. This will hopefully change soon for the former fourth overall NFL draft selection, as Smith added that "the ball will find him" when answering questions about Pitts' usage. Very similar statements were made by coach Smith last season when Pitts got off to a slow start, and just two weeks later, he recorded his first career 100-yard game and touchdown. Although it may be tempting to bench him, Pitts has the talent to be a difference-maker at a position devoid of enticing options and should continue to be started in fantasy leagues.
