Russell Wilson A Low-End QB2 Against Panthers
Published: Nov 26, 2022 at 12:58 AM
Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson has had an extremely disappointing season in his first year in Denver. He enters a Week 12 road matchup against the Carolina Panthers as the QB22 in overall fantasy points and he's thrown more than one touchdown in just one game in 2022 in Week 4 against the Las Vegas Raiders. In the rematch against Vegas last weekend, Wilson completed a season-high 77.42 percent of his 31 attempts, but he went for just 247 yards and no touchdowns. There's no reason to think he'll suddenly go off this Sunday against a middle-of-the-pack Panthers pass defense, especially since Wilson will be without receiver Jerry Jeudy (ankle) for the second straight game. Wilson has proven he's a low-end QB2 this year in fantasy without much upside at all.
