Russell Wilson A Low-End QB2 Against Chiefs

Published: Dec 09, 2022 at 02:44 AM
Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson will probably have to throw the ball often in the Week 14 matchup against the division-rival Kansas City Chiefs, but he should still not be considered anything more than a low-end QB2 in fantasy. Wilson is also likely to be without the team's leading receiver in Courtland Sutton (hamstring), who was injured early in the Week 13 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. The 33-year-old signal-caller has looked nothing like the nine-time Pro Bowler that he was with the Seattle Seahawks in his first year in Denver. He has only eight touchdown passes and a career-low 60.1 completion percentage in 11 games as the QB22 in fantasy. KC's defense has allowed the sixth-most fantasy points per game to QBs this year, but Wilson will remain a very unappetizing fantasy option.
