Rachaad White "Should Get Some More Plays"

Published: Oct 27, 2022 at 10:06 AM
Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Lovie Smith said he is not contemplating making rookie Rachaad White the team's lead back but that "he should get some more plays; we've always talked about it every week." White rushed six times for 24 yards and brought in one of two targets for eight yards in the Week 7 loss to the Carolina Panthers. "He does some good things with the ball in his hands; he does some good things when he's out there." White could see some extra touches against the Ravens on Thursday night, but Baltimore has been tough on opposing running backs this season and rank eighth in rush DVOA. The 23-year-old is mainly a flex option against the Ravens in Week 8.
