Nick Bosa Awarded Defensive Player Of The Year

Published: Feb 10, 2023 at 04:28 AM
San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa dominated the voting for Defensive Player of the Year as he gathered 46 first-place votes and 237 points in comparison to Micah Parsons' 101 points in second place. Bosa led the league in sacks with 18.5 while collecting 51 total tackles and 19 of those being tackles for a loss. He also boasted 48 quarterback hits which were first in the league and added two forced fumbles. The Niners' defense is likely to remain a dominant force as long as Bosa is around, and it doesn't look like he'll be leaving any time soon.
