Mike Evans Finds The End Zone In Week 1 Win
Published: Sep 12, 2022 at 04:15 PM
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans caught five of seven targets for 71 yards and a touchdown in Sunday night's 19-3 win over the Dallas Cowboys. Tom Brady connected with Evans on a five-yard strike during the third quarter for the Bucs' first touchdown of the game. Evans led the team in receptions and targets in Sunday's win. The 29-year-old could see even more of an uptick in target share if Chris Godwin (hamstring) misses any games. He will look to build on Sunday night's performance when the Bucs take on the Saints in Week 2. Although Evans has struggled against the Saints in the past, he remains a borderline WR1 for Week 2.
