Mike Evans A Solid Option For The Wild-Card Round

Published: Jan 12, 2023 at 02:31 AM
Despite not playing in the team's Week 18 loss to the Falcons, Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans still finished the regular season with solid numbers. He compiled 77 receptions on 127 targets for 1,124 yards and six touchdowns. The six scores were his lowest total since 2017, however, he remains as dangerous as any fantasy receiver in the game. The Buccaneers face the Cowboys on Monday night in the wild-card round, and his matchup is a good one. Dallas is one of the worst in the NFL against the pass, giving up 156 yards and 22.5 fantasy points per game to the wide receiver position. Evans hasn't had his best statistical season, but his ceiling is higher than most. Consider the Tampa Bay wideout a solid fantasy start as we head into the playoffs.
