Micah Parsons Optimistic About Playing Thursday

Published: Nov 24, 2022 at 12:35 AM
Dallas Cowboys star defender Micah Parsons (ankle, knee), who is listed as questionable for the Thanksgiving Day game on Thursday against the division-rival New York Giants, is optimistic about playing. Parsons was limited in practice on both Tuesday and Wednesday. The strong Cowboys defense could be very short-handed against New York, as linebacker Anthony Barr (hamstring) has been ruled out. Nose tackle Johnathan Hankins (illness) and defensive end Tarell Basham (illness) are doubtful. Safety Donovan Wilson (illness), defensive tackle Neville Gallimore (illness) and defensive ends Dante Fowler (illness) and DeMarcus Lawrence (foot, illness) are questionable. Dallas elevated offensive tackle Aviante Collins and linebacker/defensive end Takk McKinley to the active roster due to so many players battling illnesses this week.
