Matthew Stafford Won't Miss Anymore Days Of Camp

Published: Aug 01, 2023 at 03:00 PM
Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay said the plan was for quarterback Matthew Stafford to rest on Monday at training cap so that he stays on a schedule similar to the regular season, where he will throw four out of seven days. McVay said Stafford will not miss anymore days of training camp. The 35-year-old veteran didn't have a normal training camp last year while coming off an elbow injury, and his season ended prematurely in 2022 due to a severe neck injury. However, he's beyond both issues and is fully healthy heading into the 2023 season. Still, Stafford's recent injury history and a terrible offensive line in front of him aren't recipes for fantasy success. Consider him more of a low-end QB2 this year.
