Matthew Stafford Has Full Workload

Published: Jul 27, 2023 at 10:09 PM
Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford is throwing what appears to be a full workload at training camp, which is something he was unable to do before the last two seasons due to various injuries. "I feel a lot better physically," Stafford said, "I feel really healthy compared to where I was at this point last year, so that's fun for me." Stafford played in just nine games due to a neck injury in 2022, and with both him and All-Pro wideout Cooper Kupp (ankle) missing significant time, the Rams' offense went off the rails. It's good news that Stafford is fully healthy heading into the 2023 campaign, but he'll be working behind a porous offensive line and he's now 35 years old. There's not very much fantasy upside here anymore.
