Matthew Stafford A Full Participant In Practice

Published: Nov 16, 2023 at 12:41 AM
Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay said that quarterback Matthew Stafford (thumb) was a full participant in practice on Wednesday. Stafford suffered a UCL sprain in his right thumb in Week 8 and was unable to play in Week 9, but with the bye last week to heal up, it appears as if the 35-year-old veteran will only miss one game. Barring a setback in practice on Thursday or Friday, Stafford is trending in the right direction to start in a divisional clash this Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks. If the Rams play it safe and hold him out for another game, Carson Wentz is expected to make his debut with LA. The return of Stafford would be great news for the entire Rams offense, but most notably receivers Cooper Kupp and rookie Puka Nacua (knee).
