Marvin Mims Jr. - Week 2 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Published: Sep 15, 2023 at 06:06 PM
Denver Broncos rookie wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. is a stash in dynasty/keeper leagues, but he has no business being rostered in 12-team redraft leagues after his two-catch performance in the team's Week 1 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders in a game where Jerry Jeudy (hamstring) wasn't even active. Mims caught both of his targets but gained just nine yards and played just 27 percent of the offensive snaps, which ranked fourth among the team's wideouts behind Courtland Sutton, Lil'Jordan Humphrey and Brandon Johnson. It appears that the 21-year-old is still being eased into the offense as he adapts to the speed of the NFL. And with Jeudy potentially making his 2023 debut in Week 2 against the Washington Commanders' tough defense, Mims figures to have a small role yet again.
