Marvin Mims Jr. Should Remain On Benches In Week 11

Published: Nov 18, 2023 at 06:43 PM
Denver Broncos rookie wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. (ankle) was on this week's injury report but will be fine to play on Sunday night versus the Minnesota Vikings after practicing in full on Thursday and Friday. The Broncos discussed the possibility of getting Mims on the field more on offense during their Week 9 bye, and he played a season-high 69% of the offensive snaps in the Week 10 win over the Buffalo Bills. However, that translated to no catches on one target. The speedy 21-year-old deep threat made some noise down the field early on in 2023 and is fourth on the Broncos with 246 receiving yards, but he has no business in starting fantasy lineups despite a good matchup in Week 11 against the Vikings secondary. Mims hasn't caught more than two passes in a game since Week 4 and has two receptions for four yards in the last five contests.
