Marquez Valdes-Scantling Catches Three Passes In Week 18

Published: Jan 10, 2023 at 07:39 PM
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling caught three of his six targets for only 27 yards in the Week 18 regular season finale against the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders last weekend. Valdes-Scantling finishes his first year in KC in the regular season with a career-high 42 receptions on 81 targets for 687 yards and two touchdowns in 17 games played. However, the 28-year-old pass-catcher had three or fewer catches for the fifth straight game and just hasn't been regularly involved in a high-octane Chiefs offense with quarterback Patrick Mahomes distributing the ball masterfully to all of the team's offensive weapons. MVS didn't go over 28 receiving yards in the final five games and will be a boom/bust DFS target in the playoffs once the Chiefs return to action in the Divisional Round.
