Kyle Pitts Hurt By Poor Quarterback Play

Published: Nov 11, 2022 at 05:10 AM
Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts had a team-high eight targets in the team's 25-15 Week 10 loss to the Carolina Panthers. However, the rookie had only two receptions for 28 receiving yards in the Thursday night matchup. Several of his targets were drastically off as Marcus Mariota continued to struggle. There were at least 2-3 targets where the veteran quarterback overthrew the young tight end by several yards. Fantasy players are stuck between a rock and a hard place with the former Florida star. Pitts has as much natural talent as any tight end in the NFL. At the same time, he is wildly inconsistent because of poor quarterback play. Fantasy players should hope for a quarterback change before the team's Week 11 matchup against the Chicago Bears.
