Kenyon Green Could Miss Start Of Training Camp

Houston Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans was non-committal on the status of starting left offensive guard Kenyon Green's (knee) status for the start of training camp at the end of July after Green had arthroscopic knee surgery in the offseason. Green hasn't participated in offseason workouts, but he's made progress with his rehab behind the scenes and is considered to be on track to practice in training camp, according to a league source. The 22-year-old former first-rounder from Texas A&M struggled in his rookie year in 2022, allowing four sacks with a dozen penalties in 14 starts. He allowed 47 pressures in 823 snaps and had a 37.7 Pro Football Focus blocking grade and a 27.0 pass-protection mark.
