Kenneth Gainwell Has Little Upside Against San Francisco

Published: Jan 28, 2023 at 12:30 AM
Philadelphia Eagles running back Kenneth Gainwell will face the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Conference Championship game on Sunday. The second-year back has only touched the ball occasionally this past season unless the Eagles are winning in blowout fashion, which is precisely why he tallied 121 yards and a touchdown last week. Most of these yards were gained in the fourth quarter when Philadelphia had the game well in hand. That scenario is unlikely this weekend against the 49ers. Starting back Miles Sanders handled the majority of the carries last week before the fourth quarter, and this weekend's matchup against San Francisco is anything but good. The 49ers held Dallas to 76 yards on 22 carries last week and have held opposing running backs in check for the majority of the season. There are better options available to FLEX in DFS and playoff leagues this Sunday.
