Kendre Miller Showing His Receiving Skills
Published: Aug 03, 2023 at 02:31 AM
New Orleans Saints rookie running back Kendre Miller is being thrown into the fire in training camp and has been displaying the receiving skills that he thinks were underutilized at TCU. "TCU, they didn't really use me in the passing game that much," Miller said. "But here I'm kind of excited, because we get the ball a whole lot more in the passing game." The 21-year-old also thinks his route-running skills are undervalued. With Alvin Kamara likely to receive a suspension from the NFL to begin the regular season, Miller could have a sizable role in the Saints' backfield attack. The third-rounder will also be competing for touches with Jamaal Williams in his first NFL season. If you draft Kamara, it would be wise to handcuff him with either Williams (standard scoring) or Miller (PPR).
