Kendre Miller Does Not Practice Friday, Questionable For Week 1

Published: Sep 08, 2023 at 07:43 PM
New Orleans Saints running back Kendre Miller (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans despite not practicing at all this week. It's a bit surprising to see the Saints are leaving the door open for Miller, a rookie, to play after failing to practice for three consecutive days, but perhaps the decision is coming out of necessity. With Alvin Kamara suspended, Miller being inactive would leave Jamaal Williams and Kirk Merritt as the only running backs on New Orleans' active roster. Nevertheless, it would be considered a surprise if Miller does suit up. Williams is a low-end RB2 in fantasy football while the versatile Taysom Hill might be worth starting in leagues where he has tight end eligibility.
