Jordyn Brooks Passes Physical, Activated From PUP

Published: Aug 15, 2023 at 10:35 PM
Seattle Seahawks linebacker Jordyn Brooks (knee) passed a physical on Tuesday and was officially activated from the Physically Unable to Perform list seven months after having surgery to fix a torn right ACL. Brooks has recorded 345 tackles in the last two seasons, including a franchise-record 184 in 2021. He tore his ACL in Week 17 against the New York Jets in January. The 25-year-old can now return to practice at training camp, but the Seahawks figure to ease him back into action. Brooks' return on Tuesday doesn't guarantee that he'll be ready for Week 1 of the regular season either, but it's all-around great news for Seattle's defense. When he's fully healthy, Brooks has the potential to be an IDP beast.
