Jordyn Brooks Could Miss 2023 Season

Published: Apr 02, 2023 at 10:03 PM
Seattle Seahawks linebacker Jordyn Brooks (knee) is unlikely to be ready for the beginning of next season. The 25-year-old tore his ACL on New Year's Day, which means he probably won't be back until late in the season, assuming he returns at all in 2023. Recently, Seahawks general manager John Schneider compared Brooks' timetable to Jon Rhattigan. In December of 2021, Rhattigan tore his ACL and didn't return until December of 2022. The absence of Brooks is certainly going to hurt considering he's recorded back-to-back 160-plus tackle seasons. The Seahawks do have Devin Bush and Bobby Wagner to help fill the void. Early reports says Brooks is making good progress, so maybe he'll be able to play at some point next season.
