Jordan Mason Suffers Foot Sprain

San Francisco 49ers running back Jordan Mason has been diagnosed with a sprained foot and will be evaluated on a day-to-day basis, according to Josh Dubow of the Associated Press. Mason was trending towards securing a roster spot and likely still will, but his availability for Week 1 is less certain. The 24-year-old logged 258 yards and one touchdown as a rookie last year. As long as Christian McCaffrey and Elijah Mitchell remain on the field, Mason has no appeal in redraft leagues.
