Jordan Mason Set For Backup Role In Week 15
Published: Dec 15, 2022 at 02:41 PM
San Francisco 49ers running back Jordan Mason will back up Christian McCaffrey in Thursday's game against the Seattle Seahawks. The 23-year-old rushed 11 times for 56 yards and was not targeted in last Sunday's 35-7 win over the Buccaneers. McCaffrey (knee) was removed from the injury report and will suit up against Seattle Thursday night. Mason, San Francisco's new RB2 with Elijah Mitchell (knee) on injured reserve, has seen an uptick in touches over the last two games. The Georgia Tech product has logged 19 rushing attempts during that span. Mason is on the flex radar in deep-league formats against a Seahawks defense that ranks 26th in rush DVOA this season.
