Jordan Mason Moving Up Depth Chart

Published: Jun 12, 2023 at 12:29 AM
San Francisco 49ers running back Jordan Mason has reportedly passed Tyrion Davis-Price on the depth chart, according to Jerry McDonald. It's early in camp, but Mason appears to be doing better than Davis-Price in recent practices. The undrafted back saw a limited workload with the 49ers last season. He rushed 43 times for 258 yards, and scored one touchdown this past season. It sounds like Mason is currently penciled in behind Christian McCaffrey and Elijah Mitchell on the depth chart. There won't be many reps for Mason or Davis-Price when the 49ers are healthy. However, both McCaffrey and Mitchell have a long injury history. Mason could be a possible stash option in deep leagues, but we'll wait and see what happens later in camp.
