Jimmy Garoppolo Has Ugly Game In Week 3

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo completed 18-of-29 passes for 211 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in his first game returning to the starting lineup, an 11-10 loss to the Denver Broncos. In an ugly game, Garoppolo missed open receivers, threw a pick into triple coverage, and led his team to just one first down conversion on ten attempts. Backed up to his own goal-line, he threw what would have been a pick six, but he stepped out of bounds before releasing the ball, making it a self-safety instead. He finished outside the top 24 QBs in his first game back while playing against a tough defense. His next game is a home matchup with the Los Angeles Rams, also a tough defense and not a good fantasy matchup. But against lesser defenses, Garoppolo could be a reasonable streaming option in superflex leagues if he gets into a rhythm.
