Jimmy Garoppolo A Safe Choice As Superflex QB

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo has his first start of 2022 against the stingy Denver Broncos defense on Sunday Night Football. The 30-year-old had to step in last week for the injured Trey Lance and went 13-of-21 passing for 154 yards and one touchdown against the Seattle Seahawks. The Broncos present a tougher challenge. While Seattle ranks as the No. 30 defense in PFF grades, Denver ranks eighth overall and boasts the fifth best pass rush and fifth best pass coverage. Neither Denver nor San Francisco have faced top tier competition yet, so Sunday Night will be a "prove it" game for both of them. Jimmy Garoppolo is a safe QB2 for superflex leagues who finished among the top 24 QBs in 14 out of the 15 games he started last season.
