Ja'Marr Chase Looks To Build Off ROY Campaign On Sunday
Published: Sep 10, 2022 at 06:29 PM
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase will look to build off an effective rookie year against the visiting Steelers in Week 1. Chase introduced himself to Pittsburgh by accumulating four catches for 65 yards and two touchdowns back in Week 3 last season. However, Week 12 was different, as the former LSU Tiger had only three receptions for a disappointing 39 yards. To be fair, the Bengals took a decisive lead in that one, resulting in Joe Mixon getting 28 touches to milk the clock, so he should get a free pass. The Bengals upgraded its offensive line during the offseason, so the 22-year-old should have plenty of time to get downfield for some deep passes from Joe Burrow on Sunday (and beyond). That said, Chase went within the first round of most fantasy drafts heading into the season, so he needs to be in every starting lineup, no questions asked.
